Long passive holds. The opposite of an active practice. Floor-based, deeply quiet.

Who it's for

  • People who feel cumulatively held in the body.
  • Anyone after a long week of desk work.
  • Side practice for cyclists, runners, climbers.

Who it's not for

  • Pregnancy past trimester one (the long passive holds aren't safe).
  • People with active flares of joint inflammation (ask Sienna).

First class

What happens.

  • 1. Each pose held 3-5 minutes.
  • 2. We are quiet between poses.
  • 3. Wear something warm for the floor work.

What to bring

  • Mat, two blocks (provided), one bolster (provided).
